Messy Bun Therapy Practice Policies

1. Appointments & Scheduling

  • Sessions are by appointment only. Clients can schedule via the online portal or by contacting the practice directly.
  • A valid credit card is required on file to book an appointment.
  • Clients are responsible for attending sessions on time. Sessions will not be extended for late arrivals & you will be charged for the entire scheduled session time. 

2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the session fee unless due to an emergency.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in pausing of services until therapy feels helpful, not stressful. 

3. Fees & Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of service.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA, alternate forms of payment are required to be on file prior to your first session. Please update these payment methods as needed. 
  • Limited Discounted rate options are available. 

4. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • All client information is confidential in accordance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.
  • Limits to confidentiality include cases of harm to self or others, child/elder abuse, plan to harm others, or court orders.

5. Hybrid Therapy Sessions

  • Clients may choose between virtual or in-person sessions.
  • Virtual sessions must be conducted in a private, secure location with a stable internet connection.
  • In-person sessions are available for local clients at the designated office location.
